The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank announced the full reservation of units of "Al Wadi" project in Al-Bahir area, a project under the Government Land Development Program. This occurred minutes after reservations opened on "Baity" real estate platform at the Innovation Summit 2025 in the Social Housing Sector. Al Wadi project comprises of 76 units, developed in partnership with "Saraya" company.
The project was presented on "Baity" platform as the first initiative launched under the "off-plan sale" program, which the Minister announced during the opening session of the Conference and Exhibition of the Innovation Summit 2025 in the Social Housing Sector. Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of Eskan Bank, stated that the rapid uptake of the project's units, within minutes of registration opening for citizens interested in the housing finance program, reflects high demand for innovative housing services offered by the Ministry and Eskan Bank in partnership with the private sector. These services aim to provide suitable housing for citizens without waiting periods. The Minister stated that the significant public interest motivates the Ministry and the Bank to expand the housing finance program and the Government Land Development Program.
Additionally, the Private Land Development Program, announced at the conference's opening, aims to increase the Kingdom's real estate stock to accommodate the growing demand for housing finance. This is achieved by supporting real estate and development companies in implementing social housing projects on their private lands, making them available to finance beneficiaries.
Mr. Abdulla Taleb, General Manager of Eskan Bank, confirmed that Al Wadi project has garnered significant interest from stakeholders since its announcement. They promptly reserved residential units through "Baity," completing the reservation and payment processes electronically via digital payment gateways "Benefit" and "CrediMax," thereby eliminating the need for a bank visit.
